Endocrine glands secrete hormones into what?

The bloodstream

Hormones from endocrine glands travel through the bloodstream, which acts as the transport system for these signaling molecules. This allows hormones to reach distant target organs that have the appropriate receptors and elicit specific responses, such as insulin lowering blood sugar or adrenaline preparing the body for action. In contrast, glands that secrete into ducts release their products into the digestive tract, bile, or other surfaces (exocrine secretion), not into the blood. The lymphatic system isn’t the primary route for hormonal signaling, though it’s part of bodily fluid transport; hormones mainly circulate in the blood.
